This food supplement contains both curcumin from turmeric and resveratrol.
Curcumin is a polyphenol with well-documented antioxidant and naturally anti-inflammatory properties. It has been used for generations to relieve complaints relating to digestion, skin, joints and muscles.
Resveratrol is also a type of polyphenol and antioxidant; it is produced by berries and plants in order to protect them against stress, damage and disease. It neutralises free radicals, slows the ageing process and protects against age-related diseases. It may help to prevent blood clots and to reduce oxidised cholesterol.
Oxidative stress is an imbalance between the production and the neutralisation of free radicals. Free radicals are a natural by-product of the cells' metabolism, and free radicals can often contribute to cell damage. The various antioxidants protect the cells against the harmful effects of free radicals.
When we use the liposomal technique, absorption increases dramatically. Here these two bioactive substances come in a liposomal form that gives maximum absorption. At the same time they are protected through digestion and are better absorbed into the blood and into the cells.
Not recommended together with blood thinners.
